Paul Matzko

Paul MatzkoPaul Matzko is a historian of religion and politics in twentieth century America. He earned a BA in history at Bob Jones University (’07) and his MA in history at Temple University (’10). His thesis explored the politicization of Carl McIntire and the origins of the New Christian Right. Beginning in Fall 2010 he will begin PhD studies at Pennsylvania State University under the guidance of Philip Jenkins.

Lincoln Mullen

Lincoln MullenLincoln Mullen is a historian of religion and early America. He earned a BA (’06) and MA (’08) in history from Bob Jones University. He is currently a PhD student in history at Brandeis University. He works primarily with American religion in the colonial era and in the antebellum United States. His research topics include the time consciousness of Puritan missionaries and their Indian converts and the history of ideas of declension and covenant, particularly the jeremiad tradition.
